Connect easily between Rhode Island’s T.F. Green Airport, the Providence AMTRAK station, and Cape Cod with the new Cape and Providence Express Bus Service. CAPEX coach service runs five times weekdays, four times on weekends, to park & ride lots in Sagamore, Barnstable and Harwich.

The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority’s fleet of diesel buses now runs on 20 percent biodiesel fuel. The agency expects to cut CO2 emissions by 15 tons a year and save $35,000 in fuel on its Flex route alone.

Sea
Travel by ferry to Provincetown from Gloucester, MA daily with Boston Harbor Cruises.  The 250-passenger ferry runs between June 28 and August 31, 2008, leaving Gloucester Marine Terminal at 8:30 a.m. and departing Provincetown on a return trip at 4:30 p.m.  There is free parking in Gloucester.

Hy-Line Cruises will open a spanking new passenger service and ticketing center on the Hyannis waterfront this spring.

New Air TerminalAir
Barnstable Municipal Airport in Hyannis has received $1.7 million in state funds to finish the design of a new 35,000 sq. ft. passenger terminal and related improvements. Watch for construction to start in 2009.

Nantucket Memorial Airport is undergoing a $26 million upgrade including 18,000 sq. ft. of additions and renovations. Most notable will be a new wing off the main terminal for passengers flying to Boston and New York. Work should be done in spring 2009.
