The island has an improved network of relatively flat and paved bike trails "down island" - Vineyard Haven to Oak Bluffs to Edgartown - and back. They traverse some of the island’s best landscape, offering classic and memorable views.

Sail and Bike
Leave your car behind and take your bicycle aboard any island-bound ferry for a modest fee. When you arrive, take your bike along any Vineyard Transit Authority bus. Remember bike capacity is limited.
